A Perfect Day!!!

I came around this bend on the trail and just had to take a picture. Over the mountains you can see into Cache County. The body of water you can see is Mantua Reservoir. And of course you can see the trail and Shawn, Keegs, and Brooklyn on the four-wheeler. Beautiful ride. This day was just absolutely perfect. We had the best family time. I told Shawn that yes, there is a little bit of heaven on earth!
We stopped at a waterfall to take pictures and there was this snowbank along the side. We all took turns sliding on our bums down it, and then Shawn & I decided to ski down it with our shoes. What a blast we had! We were laughing so hard. This picture was taken just before I biffed it good!! And not once, but about three times.

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love waterfalls, so this picture is one of my favorites!

I am so thankful for my family. I love them so much! I am so thankful that we get to spend time together and do things together as a family. When all is said and done, it's FAMILY that really matters!!

Shawn & I up at Inspiration Point at Willard Peak.

This is looking down into Ogden.

Looking out into West Weber area. You can also see Antelope Island. Breathtaking view up here no matter what direction you look. Willard Bay almost looks little when your clear up here. It's neat to be able to see Ogden, Logan, Brigham City, and Tremonton areas from one point.

Amazing the day before July 1st, and we had to share the trail with snow on our way to Willard Peak. It was fun to drive through!

Keeping buisy with ball

June was a buisy month for our family. As buisy as we were it just made the month fly by. We had ball games on Tues. and Thursday nights and Shawntae & Keegan usually seemed to play at the same time at different fields. This made it very interesting on the nights that Shawn had to work! They both did a great job and improved a lot. I am so proud of both of them!

What a silly dog!

Our puppy, Roxie, thinks she is just one of the kids! She has been so much fun to have around although she thinks she needs constant attention. This day the kids were outside playing in the sprinklers while we were working on the shop, and they decided to lay their towels out and sunbathe. Well, Roxie looked over at them and then went and layed down on their towels with them just like she was sunbathing too!! We got quite a laugh out of that. She is quite the dog; I love it when she smiles, and yes, she does that a lot! I've never seen a dog that smiles like that.

Tour de Cure

Here I come at the finish line. It must not have been too bad cause I'm still smiling!

AWESOME! I can't even begin to describe the feelings I had as I participated in the 25 mile Tour de Cure bicycle ride on June 12, 2010. It was a neat experience and I am so glad that I was able to do this. I had tears for the first mile or so as I was overcome with emotion as I tried to take it all in. I could have done with out the STRONG winds we had, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Who knows, maybe next year I'll be up to the 65 mile! A note to any family or friends interested in participating as a team next year, let me know and start riding! ha ha. We should form a team and ride every year in grandma's honor. A big THANKS to all those who donated and a big THANKS to those that were able to come and watch me and cheer me on. It was awesome to have the support that I had. I had a goal to raise $250.00 and I was able to raise $300.00 so thanks so much to all that were able to donate!! I love and appreciate you all!!
